What should I expect when I get to court?
Thomas Soldan: That depends on the case. The expectations for any case will be different depending on the procedural posture of the case. Procedural posture is what indicates whether the case is set for trial, whether there is going to be a preliminary hearing, or whether the case will involve some sort of a plea negotiation. Based on the procedural posture, everyone knows where the case is. Your attorney will let you know what to expect regarding that prior to the court date.
